Intermediate/Advanced Painting for Students 12+ and Adults

Refine your techniques or explore new artistic horizons this summer! This class aims to cultivate and enhance students' observation and expression abilities by consistently covering fundamental concepts of painting and drawing through supervised classroom practices. The small class size ensures personalized attention tailored to each student's needs and interests. Students will experiment with various painting mediums to find their unique artistic voice. Topics include composition, color theory, perspective, and texture.

Instructor: Ms. Hua Li

English Writing for Elementary and Middle School Students

Led by a BCPS English writing teacher, our summer program aligns with BCPS writing standards for students from 3rd to 8th grade. The classes will focus on teaching students how to write two key types of essays: narrative and research. Through engaging lessons and hands-on practice, this program aims to equip students with the necessary skills to become confident and effective writers. By the end of the program, students will have a solid foundation in essay writing, preparing them for academic success and empowering them to express their ideas clearly and creatively.
